In March I was asked if I'd like to play in a small pit orchestra for the Sugar-Salem Education Foundation sponsored Oklahoma! I agreed, because it was only for about a month of rehearsals and then the performances, plus I really enjoy pit orchestras. Jason has been taking cello lessons for about six months and wanted to try out actually performing, so he got to play, too! It took a lot of juggling of the kids and our schedules (thank you so much to Denise and Amy for watching the kids for us for both rehearsals and performances) but we had so much fun performing in this together!
