Happy 6th Birthday, Emily!

It's hard to believe Miss Emily is already six years old! She is a sweet kid who loves playing with everyone around her. She is in first grade and is quickly picking up on how to read. She tends to talk a little too much at school, but anyone who knows Emily wouldn't be surprised by this! Her favorite color is purple and she loves everything Barbie. Her best friends by far are Ryan and Chelsey, and she still loves her little pink bunny. Her favorite food, requested for her birthday dinner, is hotdog casserole. We love you so much, Emily, and are glad you are our little princess! Happy Birthday!

Her face the whole night: just happy and excited about everything!

She finally got her Belle dress she has wanted forever!

Emily's Birthday Party

This year we decided to let the Emily have a birthday party with friends, and we all had a lot of fun! I'm all about keeping it pretty simple, so we invited just a few friends and played a few games and ate some yummy food!

Emily trying her hardest to pop a balloon for the clue inside. (She never was able to do it!)

Our yummy dinner -- all of Emily's favorites!

Makell and Tyler's Wedding

Makell and Tyler got married! We knew for a while that we would be headed back to Rexburg for a wedding; we just didn't know when! Tyler is in the Air Force and the time of his leave was always up in the air. But it all worked out and they were married on 9/10/11 just like Makell had wanted. It was a quick weekend trip due to Jason's work schedule, but we made it in time. Congratulations, Tyler and Makell! We hope you are as happy and as in love as you are now! Good luck, Tyler, with the deployment, and good luck, Makell, making it through. You guys are such great examples to us!

Chelsey and Emily took their job of holding up Makell's dress very seriously!

And Ryan? Just hanging out!

Chelsey was so nervous about possibly getting sick like last time -- this was when she realized that flying is not that bad! Emily was just super excited the whole time!

And this kid? What can I say about him? He entertained himself by snapping over 300 pictures on my phone. Apparently there are a multitude of views of his shoes, the tray table, Jason's legs, and the no-smoking sign -- all a little different!

Ditmar's Apple Orchard 2011

Our HOAA playgroup went to Ditmar's again this year, and as you can see Ryan had a blast!

I always know when he is not in the mood for pictures because he starts pulling really great faces!

But still pretty cute!
