Happy Easter!

Our family on Easter Sunday - 04/08/2012

On this Easter we really tried to teach our kids why we really celebrate Easter, which is the atonement, death, and ultimately the resurrection of our Savior. I know that our Savior Jesus Christ lived, and that He atoned for our sins in the Garden of Gethsemane. I know He died on the cross for us. I know that He lives and was resurrected that beautiful Easter Sunday morning, and because of Him we can all be resurrected one day and live forever with our families. This is the most beautiful part of Easter, and I am so thankful for my Savior Jesus Christ for providing a way that we actually can be with our family members forever.

Happy Easter Bunny Day!

At our house, the Easter Bunny visits on Saturday per special request by Daddy and Mommy. (This helps us keep Easter Sunday all about our Savior.)

Lauritzen Gardens

Jason took the kids to Lauritzen Gardens with our friends Alvin and Sarah. They enjoyed the beautiful weather and the gardens while I stayed home and got several things checked off my list. It was a win-win for everyone involved!
