Jason's sister Brendie and her husband Tyson stopped by for a quick little trip last weekend. Tyson had an interview for dental school in Lincoln, so we had a blast with our house guests! On Saturday we went to the Durham Railroad Museum to see the "Disney Train" with a preview of the new "Christmas Carol" movie. It was...fun. Well, I had fun, but the lines were exceptionally long, the train was kind of cool for the grownups, and the movie was TOO scary and nightmare-inducing for the kids. In the afternoon the zoo was the happening place to be, apparently, according to the parking nightmare we went through, but I think we all had fun there. Dinner at Olive Garden is always a good time, and watching a movie together is so relaxing and fun, too. On Sunday we went to church and then to the Trail Center. Monday was Tyson's interview in Lincoln, which Brendie was invited to attend as well. So Monday night was for relaxing, after a long, adrenalin-induced stressful day. Come back and visit soon, guys! Maybe next time you'll be looking for a place to live!

We love the Trail Center!
Our Preview of the new "Christmas Carol"
Tyson and Brendie enthused about the loooooong line!
Learning about the digital 3-D effects in the new movie
(The scuba man is only half there, as well as the pink ball -- the other halves are mirror-images)
So sweet!
This picture makes me want to bundle up in warm clothes.
(The windows were really just flat-screen TVs.)
Note: Please learn from our experience: do NOT take kids to see this movie -- TOO SCARY -- your kids will end up thinking that scary ghosts are going to come flying through their bedroom door at night. *sigh*
