Happy Birthday, Ryan!

So excited to open presents!!!

We got this little playmat in Disneyland last summer and have been saving it for today.  It was an instant hit.

Even more popular, however, were these cars from Cars.  :)  Love those chubby little hands.

This was Ryan's race car cake specially made for his second birthday.

Ryan's weak attempt to blow out the candles (it didn't help that he was about two feet away from the candles since he insisted on having his new Cars figurines on the table in front of him).

Amy's present for Ryan

Amy made this awesome portable racetrack for Ryan, complete with pockets to hold a few cars.  It's already been so fun to see him play with it.  Can't wait to see if it can keep him quiet at church!

Ryan is such a happy little boy. He has always been pretty easy, and is by far our best traveler. He has been across and around the United States five times with our family and he has been great! He loves anything to do with cars, including Cars, and can name any ball you show him. He'll throw it right to you, too. He has practiced hard and can catch a ball. He especially loves books and gets so excited that he will flip the page faster than you can say the words. He's working on colors and can sing, "Popcorn Popping" with all the actions. He loves nursery and loves to lay in his crib and sing after he wakes up. We love his hugs and silly grins and wet kisses. What a happy two-year old! We love you, Ryan!
