Trick-or-Treating!

Halloween was a busy day for our family!

After the Halloween parade at the elementary school, we first visited Dad at work and trick-or-treated at Seasons.
(Obi-wan Kenobi, a witch, a beautiful vampire, Darth Vadar, and a giraffe)

Then we visited Barbara and trick-or-treated at Homestead.

Then we visited Grandma in Sugar City and trick-or-treated at her house, which I forgot to take a picture of. :(

Then we visited Lindsay and trick-or-treated at her apartment.

Then we visited Grandpa and Grandma and trick-or-treated there.

We decided by this point that we had enough candy and didn't go trick-or-treat around our neighborhood. Hopefully next year the HOA trunk-or-treat will be held again. One more quick stop at Ryan's kindergarten teacher's house and we were home and in bed! I love Halloween but am always glad when it is over. :)

Might as well start off a horrible-diet day with candycorn pancakes!

Chipotle

Our last stop in Boise was to our favorite place to eat - Chipotle. (When I say "our" I mean Jason and me. And now Chelsey, too. And maybe Molly. Guess which two complained and groaned about the food the whole time?)

Linder Farms Pumpkin Patch

The next day we slept in a bit and then went to Linder Farms. We had a great time! There were plenty of fun things to do. It wasn't as awesome as Vala's in Omaha, but we had a nice time together as a family. :)

Molly hated the corn box at first.

But then she had a great time in there!

 Emily half buried

Chelsey buried all the way in the freezing corn

Ryan is happy to be buried.

 This was a fun slide!

Whee!

 Waiting for their turns

 Lost in the corn maze

Molly had a death grip on this cob. I had to pry it away when it was time to go.

There was a fun mystery to be solved in the maze. They are trying to figure out the clues.

Molly would have made a great pioneer. She was bumped and jerked over the whole maze and fell asleep like it was a gently little swing rocking her back and forth.

Wahooz!

Next we went to Wahooz! It was such a fun place! We got there in the afternoon and ended up staying until 11:00 that night. Jason and the three older kids got unlimited passes and definitely got their money's worth. We played both mini golf courses, went bowling, rode in the go carts, played several games of Lasertag, played in the arcade, and ate some yummy pizza. The kids had such a great time, and we loved seeing the kids have a great time!

Jason and Ryan getting ready to ride the virtual roller coaster

We got to watch on a video screen - it was so funny!

Having a blast!

 Chelsey ready to drive away

Emily is ready to drive, too.

Waiting their turn for Lasertag.

Idaho Aquarium

Next we went to the Idaho Aquarium. This was a pretty cool (but very overpriced) little aquarium. My favorite memory of the day is when Jason almost got his finger bitten off while feeding seaweed to the fish in the first tank!

Chelsey feeding the fish

Some of those giant fish will take your fingers off if you're not careful!

Emily is amazed.

How d'ya do?
